Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between JC Holistics Ltd., trading as Lymphaeum Education("the Company", "we", "us" or "our") and all learners ("you" or "your"). By booking or attending a course, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Course Enrolment

2.1 Eligibility

Learners must meet the entry requirements stated in the course information. It is your responsibility to ensure you hold any prerequisite qualifications before booking.

2.2 Confirmation of Booking

Your place is confirmed once:

  • Your booking has been accepted.

  • Payment has been received in full or an agreed payment plan is in place.

  • Written confirmation has been issued.

3. Fees and Payment

Course fees are published on our website and may change without notice. The fee in place at the time of booking will apply to your enrolment.

Where a payment plan is agreed:

  • You remain liable for the full course fee.

  • Missed payments may result in suspension of course access.

  • Certificates will not be issued until all fees have been paid.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period.

Where a course includes online learning, by accepting access to the online learning platform you expressly request the immediate supply of digital content. Once login details have been issued, your statutory right to cancel and receive a refund ends.

No refunds will be given once online access has been provided, including where you:

  • choose not to start the course;

  • withdraw from the course;

  • fail to complete the course;

  • do not attend practical training.

If you cannot attend a practical training day, you must notify us as soon as possible. Transfers may be offered at our discretion and may incur an administration fee.

If we cancel a course, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund of any course fees paid. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or loss of earnings.

5. Online Learning

Access to the online learning platform is personal to the enrolled learner.

Login details must not be shared.

All manuals, videos, presentations, assessments and course materials remain the intellectual property of JC Holistics Ltd. They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, recorded, uploaded or shared without prior written permission.

Unauthorised sharing of course materials or login credentials may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.

6. Attendance

Learners are expected to attend all scheduled practical training.

Late arrival may result in missed learning outcomes and assessment opportunities.

Failure to attend practical training does not entitle the learner to a refund.

7. Assessment and Certification

Learners must successfully complete all required theory assessments, practical assessments and any required case studies.

One practical resit is included where the required standard is not achieved at the first practical assessment.

Any additional practical resits will incur a fee of £100 per assessment.

All assessments and resits must be completed within 12 months of the original practical training date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Certificates will only be issued once:

  • all assessments have been passed;

  • all required coursework has been completed;

  • all outstanding fees have been paid.

8. Learner Conduct

Learners are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards tutors, staff, models and fellow learners.

The Company reserves the right to remove any learner whose behaviour is abusive, disruptive, discriminatory, threatening or unsafe. Removal from a course under these circumstances will not entitle the learner to a refund.

9. Health and Safety

Learners must:

  • follow all health and safety instructions;

  • disclose any medical conditions that may affect practical participation;

  • work within the limits of their competence throughout training.

10. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

JC Holistics Ltd. is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment and will not tolerate discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

11. Data Protection

Personal information will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Information will only be used for course administration, certification and legal obligations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

12. Intellectual Property

All course content remains the copyright and intellectual property of JC Holistics Ltd.

No part of the course materials may be reproduced, adapted, transmitted or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

Whilst every effort is made to deliver courses as advertised, JC Holistics Ltd. accepts no liability for indirect or consequential losses, including travel expenses, accommodation costs, loss of earnings or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

14. Changes to Courses

We reserve the right to amend course content, tutors, venues, delivery methods or dates where reasonably necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to learners as soon as practicable.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
