Refund Policy
3. Fees, Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Course Fees
All course fees are displayed on our website and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Course fees are subject to change without notice; however, once your booking has been confirmed, the fee applicable at the time of booking will remain valid for your enrolment.
3.2 Payment Terms
Payment may be made using the methods specified on our website.
Full payment must be received before access to the course is granted unless an agreed payment plan has been confirmed in writing by JC Holistics Ltd.
Where a payment plan has been agreed:
-
The learner remains liable for the full course fee.
-
Missed or late payments may result in suspension of access to the online learning platform and/or practical training until the account is brought up to date.
-
Certificates will not be issued until all outstanding fees have been paid in full.
-
JC Holistics Ltd. reserves the right to recover any outstanding fees through appropriate debt recovery procedures where necessary.
3.3 Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy
A course place is confirmed once:
-
A completed application or booking form has been received.
-
Payment has been made in full, or an agreed payment plan has been accepted.
-
Written confirmation of acceptance has been issued by JC Holistics Ltd.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, learners purchasing online digital content have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period.
You may cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund, provided that:
-
access to the online learning platform has not been provided; and
-
the course has not already commenced.
Where a course includes online learning or digital content, you expressly request and consent to immediate access to the online learning platform before the expiry of the cooling-off period. By accepting your login credentials, you acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel and receive a refund ends once access has been provided.
Access is deemed to have been provided when login credentials have been issued to the email address supplied during enrolment, regardless of whether you subsequently log in or access the learning materials.
Once login credentials have been issued:
-
no refunds will be given;
-
no partial refunds will be given for unused course materials;
-
withdrawal from the course does not release you from liability for any outstanding course fees under an agreed payment plan.
Non-attendance, failure to access the online learning, failure to complete coursework, or withdrawal from the course for any reason does not entitle the learner to a refund.
If you are unable to attend a practical training day, you must notify JC Holistics Ltd. as soon as reasonably possible. At the discretion of the Company, you may be offered a transfer to a future course date, subject to availability. An administration fee may apply.
In exceptional circumstances, including serious illness or bereavement, requests to defer practical training may be considered at the discretion of the Director. Supporting evidence may be requested.
Should JC Holistics Ltd. cancel or postpone a course due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, learners will be offered either:
-
an alternative course date; or
-
a full refund of any fees paid for the cancelled training.
JC Holistics Ltd. shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation, loss of earnings or other consequential costs incurred by the learner.
3.4 Online Learning
Access to the online learning platform is provided solely to the enrolled learner.
Login credentials are personal and must not be shared with any other individual.
All course materials, videos, manuals, assessments, downloads and supporting resources remain the intellectual property of JC Holistics Ltd. and are protected by copyright law.
Learners may not copy, reproduce, distribute, record, upload, sell, share or otherwise make available any course materials without prior written permission.
JC Holistics Ltd. reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the learning platform where misuse, unauthorised sharing or copyright infringement is suspected.
3.5 Assessment, Resits and Certification
Learners must successfully complete all required assessments, assignments, case studies and practical assessments in order to achieve certification.
Where a learner does not achieve the required standard in the initial practical assessment, they will be entitled to one practical resit at no additional cost.
The complimentary resit will be arranged on a future assessment date determined by JC Holistics Ltd., subject to availability.
Should the learner fail the complimentary resit, or require any further reassessment, a fee of £100 will be payable for each subsequent practical resit.
Where the assessor believes additional tuition is required before another assessment attempt, JC Holistics Ltd. reserves the right to require the learner to undertake further training before another practical assessment is booked. Additional tuition may incur further charges.
Learners must complete all required assessments and any resits within 12 months of their original practical training date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Certificates will only be issued once:
-
all assessments have been successfully completed;
-
any required case studies have been submitted and passed;
-
all course fees and additional charges have been paid in full.
