Brazilian MLD & Wood Therapy for Body Contouring is a 2-day blended CPD course for qualified massage/bodywork therapists. The course combines self-directed home study with a full face-to-face practical training day in Darwen. The online theory covers: >Brazilian MLD principles and how it differs from traditional clinical MLD >lymphatic anatomy relevant to the treatment >skin, subcutaneous tissue and cellulite >Wood Therapy principles, limitations and safe application >consultation, contraindications and precautions >treatment planning, professional communication and realistic treatment outcomes During the practical day you will learn and practise: >Brazilian MLD manual techniques >treatment pressure, rhythm and direction >full-body treatment sequencing >safe use of all 8 Wood Therapy tools >combining manual and Wood Therapy techniques >adapting treatment to the individual client >aftercare and treatment records Course fee: £195 CPD points: 10 Practical date: 17 October 2026 Location: Darwen Places: Maximum 6 learners Entry requirements: Learners must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in massage, bodywork or equivalent, together with relevant Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology. Home-study access is provided following enrolment and must be completed before attending the practical training day.
