Brazilian MLD and Wood Therapy for Body Contouring This two-day CPD course teaches qualified therapists how to safely perform Brazilian Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Maderotherapy treatments. Brazilian MLD combines rhythmic lymphatic movements with faster, firmer massage techniques. It is commonly chosen by clients who want to reduce the temporary appearance of puffiness and enhance their natural body contours. Maderotherapy uses specially shaped wooden tools to complement the hands-on treatment. The course includes one day of guided home study followed by one full day of practical training. You will learn: * How Brazilian MLD differs from traditional MLD * Relevant anatomy and physiology * Benefits, limitations and realistic outcomes * Contraindications, precautions and client suitability * Consultation and treatment planning * Brazilian MLD movements and sequencing * A structured full-body treatment * Safe use of Maderotherapy tools * How to combine manual and wood therapy techniques * Aftercare and treatment planning Practical training focuses on developing a safe, comfortable and flowing treatment. Techniques are taught without aggressive pressure or unrealistic claims. This is an aesthetic body-contouring course. It does not qualify therapists to treat lymphoedema, lipoedema, post-cancer swelling or post-operative complications, which require additional specialist training. The course is suitable for qualified Level 3 massage or body therapists. Previous MLD training is not required because the essential principles are included. Successful completion includes certification and 10 accredited CPD points, subject to completing the home-study work and demonstrating safe, competent practice during the practical day.

Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy Your place on a course is confirmed once your booking has been accepted and either full payment or an agreed payment plan has been received. Full payment must be made before the course begins unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing. Learners using a payment plan remain liable for the full course fee. Certificates will not be issued until all fees have been paid. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. However, where a course includes online learning, by accepting access to the online learning platform you expressly consent to the immediate supply of digital content. Once your login credentials have been issued, your statutory right to cancel and receive a refund ends, even if you choose not to access the course materials. No refunds will be given after access to the online learning platform has been provided. This also applies if you withdraw from the course, fail to complete the online learning, do not attend practical training, or are unable to complete the course for personal reasons. If you are unable to attend a practical training day, please notify us as soon as possible. We may, at our discretion, offer a transfer to an alternative date, subject to availability. An administration fee may apply. Learners must successfully complete all required assessments to achieve certification. One practical resit is included if you do not achieve the required standard at your first practical assessment. Any additional practical resits will be charged at £100 per attempt. All assessments, including any resits, must be completed within 12 months of your original practical training date unless otherwise agreed in writing. If JC Holistics Ltd. (trading as Lymphaeum Education) has to cancel a course, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of any course fees paid. We cannot accept responsibility for travel, accommodation, loss of earnings or other associated costs.
