Service Description

This course is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and understanding, and practical skills in lymphatic drainage techniques for post-surgical, lipoedema, and lymphoedema care. The structure includes dedicated online learning, in-person training, and post-course case study work to ensure therapists can apply their skills confidently and safely in real-world settings. Online Theory Modules The online component covers the essential knowledge required to understand and support the lymphatic system. Topics include: • Anatomy, Physiology and pathologies of the Lymphatic System • The Role of Lymph in Fluid Balance and Immunity • Introduction to Lipoedema, Lymphoedema, and Post-Surgical Healing These modules are self-paced and must be completed before attending the practical sessions. In-Person Practical Training Delivered over three full days, this part of the course includes: • Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Techniques • Full Body MLD Protocol • Post-Surgical Adaptations (e.g. abdominoplasty, liposuction, breast reconstruction) • Techniques for Working with Lipoedema and Lymphoedema • Client Consultation and Assessment • Treatment Planning and Goal Setting • Contraindications and Cautions • Therapist Body Mechanics, Flow, and Safe Pressure • Supporting Lifestyle and Self-Care Strategies for Lymphatic Health Post-Course Case Studies To achieve full certification, learners must complete a series of case studies demonstrating safe, effective application of MLD techniques across a range of client scenarios. These are submitted for review and feedback by the course tutor. This course follows a blended learning model, consisting of: • Self-paced online theory modules – completed in advance through Think Tree Hub platform • Three days of in-person practical training – delivered face-to-face at our accredited venue in Darwen, Lancashire • Ongoing tutor support during case study completion – including access to weekly online group meetings where learners can ask questions, share experiences, and receive professional guidance Small group delivery allows for guided supervision, hands-on practice, and tailored feedback. Learners will have access to resources, peer support, and structured guidance throughout the full duration of the course and case study period. This diploma will enable to you gain insurance to work with clients with the relevant pathologies and there is no requirement to re certificate.

This may include age restrictions, prior qualifications, or experience requirements, as specified in individual course descriptions. 2.2 Enrolment Process Enrolment is complete when the following conditions are met: • A completed application form has been submitted. • Payment of the course fees has been processed. • Confirmation of acceptance on the course has been received from JC Holistics Ltd. 3. Fees and Payment 3.1 Course Fees All course fees are set out on our website and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Fees are subject to change, but you will be notified prior to any adjustment. 3.2 Payment Terms Payments can be made using the methods specified on our website. Full payment for courses must be received before the course start date unless a payment plan has been agreed upon in writing. 3.3 Refund and Cancellation Policy • You have the right to cancel your enrolment within 14 days of booking (the 'cooling-off period') and will receive a full refund, provided the course has not already started. • After the 14-day cooling-off period has passed, no refunds will be issued for cancellations. • Non-attendance is considered as a cancellation, and no refund will be given. • In exceptional circumstances, and at the discretion of the Director, course credit may be offered for future use. Requests must be made in writing and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
